(The following was moved here from the Booker's Folder due to the importance of all on the "wOw team" to read.)
As you read earlier, Jared posted the fact of the WWE trying to shut down e-feds.
Now, it's pretty obvious that wOwfed will likely be one of the last to go (if ever), I never like to bill us as an "e-fed", and we never go trolling for members, meaning we're closed off in a small-enough corner of the world so that the WWE would have a hard time finding us. However, "almost certainly" is just not good enough for me.
For the last two years, wOwfed is my baby, and I've done whatever I could to make sure that wOwfed survives, thrives, and becomes fine-tuned enough so that the eventual goal: Doing something involving the wOwfed for a living, can occur. The characters, whether I created them or one of the other members did, were all nurtured enough by me so that I can consider any one of them either a direct creation, or something so close to it that it's almost the same. (For example of this, I sincerely doubt that someone like IK would have a problem if I were to use, say, Jared Steele in a series I were using, and I assume the same goes for everyone here: We all know if I succeed with your guys, you'd be coming along for the ride.)
However, when there's a case like this- having the WWE trying to steal what comes out to my intellectual property, that's one of the few things I'd fight for.
Hence, at this one, I'm officially announcing our plan:
1) Our WWE guys (who WWE could have any possible case on): Use some judgement for it. Hereafter, Lesnar's gone from wOwfed (considering that was just a one-off joke, no big loss.) IK- you said that you wanted Zach Gowen in wOwfed, and I originally gave the permission...well, considering the new stuff going through, I know you can understand that if you want Gowen in wOwfed, I want you to get an IM from Gowen where he gives us his permission to use him in wOwfed, then send me the IM log of it (so that we have a paper trail if WWE comes calling.)
2) In the event that WWE comes calling, I want people to keep looking for the stuff we did before WWE did, so that if they ever do, we have enough claims to keep going.
wOwfed is my baby. It's the first thing I've done that I truly think that with some more fine-tuning (as has been started), I can actually go pro with. I am NOT letting the WWE take us down.
In short...if they're reading this: Allow me to take a line from The Rock and say, WWE: JUST BRING IT.
