Well Marvel has announced the first two Epic titles written by unpublished writers. One is a sword and sorcery one-shot and the other is a Spider-Man one-shot where Uncle Ben lived. Neither are written by me but hopefully someone at Marvel likes Sins so I'll get published and get some cash. Because seeing your hard workin print is great but cash is cash and cash is good for cart pushers like me.

Excellent. I've been waiting for Marvel to finally get off the pot on getting some unpublished writers out before I was willing to send stuff there.
Now, to get a full-time Internet connection for beta-testing my script (Joey, Ronixis, I SWEAR I'LL GET IT TO YOU AS SOON AS THIS OCCURS!)...and an artist who's willing to actually help me out instead of an artist who has the talent but only likes to do solo shot pictures, despite the fact that I've described what I wanted for each one or a supposed friend who said they'd do the artwork, but dicked out because they will only do a manga-style piece if it has giant robots or is a total ripoff of Cowboy Bebop, thus totally screwing me over after I said I'd allow them to do their plot second...sorry, I just needed to rant there.

Jemas is gone as publisher and from what I read at The X Bridge Marvel no longer wants us unpublished writers to send in our wares. I hope that really isn't going to happen or Marvel sucks just a little more then it did before (of course their policy of rewriting continuity(sp?) every couple of months is the worst thing about the company).

Once again, a main proof why the indy market is the way to go for the unpublished writer. Now, we must strike to get ourselves out there!
